Philosophy

Heather works with the non-diet approach in helping her clients become familiar and connected to their “physical” hunger.

This approach is also known as Intuitive Eating.

Heather believes in restoring your innate ability to self regulate your eating and nutrition without having

rigid diet rules and timelines, which often result in guilt and shame after eating "forbidden" foods.

By familiarizing you with the appropriate mixture of carbohydrates, proteins, and fats your body needs, Heather is able to help you create a sensible road map to achieve your nutrition goals and maintain a healthy metabolism.

Heather evaluates all pertinent blood laboratory values, your exercise regimen and any dietary preferences on an individual basis.

The Difference

Anyone can claim the title “nutritionist” without regard to what qualifications they may possess. However, there are those who have amassed the education and practical experience to truly merit the title: Registered Dietitian-Nutritionist. Heather Cline is an outstanding member of the latter group, an RDN who earned her nutrition science degrees at New Mexico State University and University of Nebraska.

Inspired by her desire to provide long-term nutritional solutions for her patients,

Heather was motivated early on by the power of healthy food choices in the prevention and management of chronic disease.

She wants to help others in truly understanding that their long-term health can

only result from permanent lifestyle changes and not temporary dietary trends.

Heather enjoys treating her clients with a combination of individualized therapeutic diets, fitness regimens and compassionate counseling.
