What to Expect

Initial Consult

Our initial visit begins with a thorough review of your medical history, any pertinent lab values and a discussion of your typical food intake as well as dietary preferences. Together we will explore your food habits and behaviors, taking the first step in transitioning to more intuitive eating. We will get to know each other and begin to identify the root cause of your symptoms. We talk about where you’ve been and where you are now in order to make a plan to move forward. We wrap this session up by answering any lingering questions and setting an intention and self-care practice to put into place right away.

Follow-up Consult

Follow-Up Sessions are just as important as the initial. They help you stay focused and give new direction in achieving your long-term goals. Food diaries and journaling provide a basis for further learning. This tool may also be helpful for those that are learning how to regulate their blood sugar and carbohydrate count if diabetes is a concern. Not everyone I work with uses this tool, but this is what I have found helps to provide accountability and manage medical conditions.
